We have a teeny-tiny bathroom upstairs that was in need of a makeover!
Here's what we started with:
Before
Before
Before
Makeovers are messy.
PROGRESS:
We patched some holes in the tile-it's hard to spot them :)
We used a sand colored caulk-there's that dreaded word again!
Our new toilet paper holder, no more having to catch the roll from sliding off.
The new light fixture was a bit small for the hole, but we patched the gap-no worries. Oh, and check out our green bulbs, they might be in this house longer than us :)
Mike's installing our new shelf-we desperately needed more storage space!
Tada!
In case you haven't noticed by now I repainted with "summer white." Things are feeling calmer now.
Hello mirror
Hello magnified mirror-that's trouble.
Hello tiny shelf above sink.
Time to install the new faucet. Someone told me this was easy...
Umm, liar. Ugh, more caulk.
Work that caulk Mike.
Bump in the road... we have a leak, and it's none of the 3 scenarios the instruction manual warns us of.
Most embarrassing picture yet, but it stopped that persistent leak- for now!
Soo maybe caulk isn't so bad after all...
Now, out of sight, out of mind.
That looks much better. What giant glob of caulk?
It was a long process (drum roll,) here's the
AFTER:
An inviting curtain with green, blue, cream, beige and pink/coral.
Toothbrushes are back!
We have a door hook!
So shiny.
New knobs, and faucet.
Loving this shelf.
Shelf breakdown:
Fresh flowers a must.
Apothecary canisters, another must.
Glass jar to hold jewelry and other miscellaneous stuff.
I'm just now realizing this resembles something else... hmm.
It's the little things:
Personalized match book lol (leftover from our wedding.)
I even folded the toilet paper, hotel de Faber.
Well that's a wrap, what do you think? We still have to change the door knob, and I have big plans for the window, but we're done for now!
Oh wait, I'd like to point out one last thing:
The above pictures are of our bathrobes. As you can see they have been monogramed, however, Michael has his full initials, and I only have an "M" what's up with that?! I think it's time I add an "F" to the lonely "M." Proud to finally be an "MFer" hehe.
i could spend all day in there. tehe.
ReplyDeletelooks fabulous dahling!
