Bath, Virginia

Country Color!
This past weekend I headed to Bath, Virginia for a Bachelorette Adventure for my good friend Liz; who's getting married in 1 month and 3 days!!! Prepare yourself, this is a longgg post... enough with the words.

Lots of fog & mist through the mountains.

We took the scenic route.

Checked into the Gristmill Inn
An absolutely charming place.

We rented our own house.

A porch of course.

Lots of cozy sitting areas.

SWEET COUNTRY ACCENTS THAT I ADORE:

Love those old phones.

Buoy lamp. Rustic and simple.

Shabby chic ceramic lamp.

Plants and plaid.

 KNOBS...

I want this door. Please.

The mill. No longer in service.

Homemade muffins in baskets.
(Pay no attention to those shot glasses please.)

Such a peaceful place.
The creek (pronounced crick, in Warm Springs, Va.)

Jefferson Pools:
The hot springs bath house.
Full of noodles? Indeed.

Everyone should try this at least once!

Last but not Least!
Falling Springs Waterfall.
I have to agree with Thomas Jefferson, this is one of "Virginia's most impressive and sublime works of nature."

At the top of the waterfall.

A spring snail.

The water is breathtakingly blue/green.

A swimming hole I plan on checking out this summer.
Yep that's a rope swing :)

A truly wonderful weekend with wonderful women.
Thank you.
